The general body unanimously endorsed formal nomination and election of the new executive members. Effective September 7, 2007 the new executive officers headed by the President elect Mr. Momodou Mboob was introduced as follows:

These officers were confirmed to be the new executive of the Seattle Gambia Association and will serve a term of two years. Congratulations to all the newly elected officers.
A general consensus was reached that all assets belongs to different groups that emerged be transitioned to the Seattle Gambia Association with immediate effect. There were confirmed to be a few assets namely A Music Stereo set, two BBQ grills that needed to be turned under the care of the newly elected executive.
The President elect Mr. Momodou Mboob wasted no in voicing out a strong opinion that he expects the highest standard of conduct from all the elected executive members. He emphasized that the community has bestowed their trust in the elected body and therefore they expect the outstanding performance and delivery of services to not only unite the community but work hard to create a progressive community.
Similar opinions were heard across the room from other newly elected board members and out going members as well. The final handing over of all responsibilities was authorized to take effect as soon as possible.
